Abstract

This volume introduces the foundational layer of a correlational framework for fundamental physics. The theory is built without assuming spacetime, dynamics, physical laws, or temporal evolution as primitive concepts. Instead, it starts from a correlational configuration space together with a minimal notion of structural consistency. A central result of this volume is the derivation of structural non-closure: no global, self-contained physical description of a subsystem is possible without projection and loss of information. Order, comparability, and effective structure arise without invoking time or dynamics at the ontological level. The volume establishes the minimal ontological commitments of the framework and clarifies which concepts are deliberately excluded from the foundation. It serves as the conceptual and mathematical base upon which all subsequent volumes build.
