The Informational Lifecycle of the Universe: From Emergent Spacetime to Dimensional Rebirth
Abstract
This paper proposes Information-Topological Cosmology (ITC), a conceptual framework that reinterprets the universe as an evolving information-processing system. The framework attempts to address several open problems in modern physics—including the Hubble tension, the vacuum catastrophe, and the fermion mass hierarchy—through a unified informational lens. Key ideas include: (1) mass as emergent topological channel capacity, (2) dark energy as accumulated informational leakage, and (3) a five-phase cosmic lifecycle culminating in dimensional phase transition. Note: This work is intended as a conceptual exploration to inspire further theoretical development, not as a complete predictive theory. The mathematical formalism remains to be rigorously developed. Comments and critiques are welcome.
