Abstract

Quetzhil: Echoes from the Past is an ecoacoustic sound art project that uses recycled plastics and electronic components from discarded toys to recreate natural soundscapes. Inspired by the Quetzal, the work explores the relationship between sound, ecology, and sustainability, raising awareness about acoustic biodiversity loss caused by urbanization and plastic pollution.
