Technical Disclosure: Sub-Threshold Quantum Tunneling Light-Emitting Device (ST-QTLED)
Abstract
The ST-QTLED (Sub-Threshold Quantum Tunneling Light-Emitting Device) is a solid-state load architecture designed to convert ultra-low-current, high-impedance electrostatic energy into visible photon emission. The device operates below conventional conduction thresholds by exploiting field-induced electron tunneling and stochastic resonance, enabling optical output at nanowatt-scale power levels without collapsing the source potential. This disclosure is referenced as a component within The Whisper Grid: A High-Impedance Electrostatic Displacement Engine.
