Character Education Management in Elementary Schools: A Comprehensive Implementation Framework
Abstract
This study explores the implementation of character education management in elementary schools with a focus on systematic approaches, best practices, and sustainable frameworks. Through a mixed methods analysis involving 18 elementary schools across diverse socioeconomic contexts, the research investigates the relationship between management strategies and character development outcomes. Findings reveal that effective character education management relies on four key pillars: leadership commitment, teacher capacity building, curriculum integration, and community engagement. The study demonstrates that schools implementing structured management systems for character education show statistically significant improvements in student behavior metrics, school climate indicators, and academic performance. A proposed Integrated Character Education Management (ICEM) framework offers educational leaders a comprehensive model for implementing, monitoring, and sustaining character education initiatives. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on educational management while providing practical insights for school administrators seeking to foster positive character development in elementary education settings.
