Abstract

Description of the Generated Data Files All_Experimental_Data.xlsxA consolidated Excel workbook containing all experimental and derived datasets used in the study. Separate sheets for: surface roughness and thickness, microhardness, specific wear rate, and coefficient of friction. Ready for direct editing in the JMST template and for statistical analysis. Fig_WearRate_vs_Load.csvContains numerical values of specific wear rate as a function of applied load for: DLC-coated specimens at 100, 200, and 300 rpm (continuous curves) Uncoated specimens at 100, 200, and 300 rpm (dashed curves)This file directly reproduces the wear-rate plot. Fig_CoP_vs_Load.csvContains coefficient of friction (CoF) versus load for the same six operating conditions(DLC and uncoated at 100, 200, and 300 rpm).It is used to regenerate the CoF comparison figure. Table_7_1_Surface.csvIncludes coating thickness, Ra, and Rz values for all coated and uncoated specimens. This file reproduces Table 7.1 – Thickness and Surface Roughness. Microhardness.csvProvides microhardness values for uncoated and DLC-coated specimens, including averages. It supports the “Microhardness Testing” subsection in Experimental Studies. All CSV files are compatible with MATLAB, Python (Matplotlib), Origin, and Excel, enabling exact regeneration of high-resolution JMST-compliant figures.
