Z-ART Global Protocol 2026
Abstract
The Z-ART Protocol establishes a high-fidelity framework for the scientific verification, digital anchoring, and long-term integrity of high-value artworks. By synthesizing multispectral acquisition, SHA-256 cryptographic hashing, and CERN-backed DOI (Digital Object Identifier) anchoring, this protocol bridges the ontological gap between physical objects and their digital representations. Key Problems Solved: Data Fragility: Replaces ephemeral web links with permanent, scientific-grade archival identifiers. Theft & Misappropriation: Implements an Emergency Response Layer that enables the author to digitally "taint" stolen assets, rendering them commercially illiquid across global markets (e.g., TEFAF, auction houses). Intellectual Parasitism: Establishes a non-fungible "prior art" timestamp, protecting the methodology from unauthorized rebranding or expropriation by capital-heavy entities. AI-OS Interoperability: Engineered for next-generation AI-driven Operating Systems, providing a machine-readable "Single Source of Truth" that enables autonomous verification and prevents AI-generated hallucinations or deepfake provenance. Legal & Technical Notice: This protocol is an indivisible technical entity. Any derivation, partial implementation, or rebranding intended to circumvent authorship rights is categorized as a breach of technical integrity and intellectual property. Validation is only recognized through the digital authorization of the original ORCID iD holder. CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 LEGAL NOTICE & LICENSING TERMS: This protocol is published under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License. No Derivatives (ND): Users may NOT alter, transform, or build upon this material. The Z-ART Protocol must remain intact as a whole to maintain its scientific validity. Any modification for rebranding purposes is a direct violation. Non-Commercial (NC): Commercial use, including integration into for-profit gallery systems or investment platforms without a separate commercial license from the author, is strictly prohibited. Attribution (BY): Credit must be given to the author via ORCID iD. CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (Dual-licensing model) Allowed: Copying and sharing the work in its original form. Conditions and prohibitions: BY (Attribution): Mandatory attribution to the author (name, title, license, link). NC (NonCommercial): Commercial use prohibited (e.g., sale, integration into for-profit platforms). ND (NoDerivatives): Modifications, remixes, or derivatives prohibited; the work must remain unchanged. Dual-licensing model: The basic license is free CC BY-NC-ND for non-commercial use. Commercial use is possible only under a separate paid agreement with the author.
