Abstract

How can vacuum be nothing (zero energy) and still be so stable? Well here you get a clear explanatin, how it could work! This paper presents a conceptual analysis of vacuum stability under the assumption of zero net energy density. A maximal electromagnetic field scale E_max is introduced as a formal reference bound required to discuss vacuum stability consistently. Explicit analogies to special relativity are developed, including low-field approximations and limiting behavior. By representing real and orthogonal imaginary field sectors side by side, vacuum is shown to possess finite field capacity while maintaining exactly zero total energy density.
