Abstract

Global, country-level installable capacity, costs and annual power generation per cost category of solar and wind power generation in the years 2030, 2040 and 2050, generated for the NoRaLock project. The following technologies are considered: csp_parabolic_trough_NS, pv_rooftop, pv_open area, wind_onshore, wind_offshore_foundation, wind_offshore_floating. For pv and wind technologies, electrical capacities and generation are provided. In case of csp, thermal capacity and heat generation of the solar field is provided. LCOE categories always (also in the case of csp) refer to electrical generation and to the country-wise cost categories of the year 2050; i.e., the cost categories are kept constant also for the years 2030 and 2040.
