BioRural D3.2 - Knowledge exchange material (1st update)
Abstract
The BioRural project aims to empower rural areas across Europe by facilitating the transition to a circular bioeconomy. This transformation presents substantial economic, ecological, and social opportunities, but it also poses significant challenges, particularly for rural communities that often lack the necessary infrastructure, technological advancements, and knowledge to fully engage with and benefit from these opportunities. Recognizing these challenges, the BioRural project has implemented a dedicated work package (WP3) focused on knowledge exchange and capacity building, with a particular emphasis on bridging the knowledge and skills gap in rural areas. A key component of this work package is the organization of Knowledge Exchange Workshops (KEWs), which are the subject of this report.
