Abstract

This release provides a user-friendly version of the computer-based executive function tasks used in my study "Executive Function and Task Engagement in Workload and Fatigue: A Multi-Task Study Using a Novel Adaptive Paradigm (under review)". Compared to the original raw files, this version has been streamlined for easier setup, execution, and adaptation. It includes clear guidance on how and where to modify task parameters, making it accessible to users with varying levels of programming experience. The goal of this user-friendly release is to enable researchers, students, educators, and anyone who wishes to apply the task in research or practical settings to replicate experimental designs, explore modifications, or integrate the task into larger cognitive experiments without requiring extensive knowledge of the original code.
