Die Schwelle der Geschichte: Eine quantitative Bedingung für die Emergenz objektiver Aufzeichnungen
Abstract
This preprint proposes a threshold condition for the emergence of objective, stable records of the past in cosmological contexts. Drawing on quantum Darwinism and the formalism of Spectrum Broadcast Structures, it identifies a necessary condition for objectivity: information must be redundantly imprinted into environmental fragments on a timescale shorter than that on which gravitational dynamics delocalize it through scrambling. Using a Weyl-curvature–based proxy for gravitational scrambling and standard results on cosmological squeezing, the paper estimates the relevant timescales during slow-roll inflation and finds that the threshold is comfortably satisfied. The work does not introduce new physical models or empirical predictions. It is intended as a conceptual contribution to the foundations of physics, clarifying the conditions under which objective history can emerge.
