VORTONS REVISITED AND RELATED EMERGENT PHYSICS
Abstract
We present a unified hydrodynamic framework where the physical vacuum is modeled as a singular, compressible superfluid. We demonstrate that the "elementary particles" of the Standard Model are topological solitons (knots) formed from discrete vorticity filaments, or "vortons." Specifically, we identify the electron as a Möbius-twisted Trefoil Knot stabilized by the constructive interference of non-local vorticity tails. Stability analysis reveals a geometric quantization limit at approximately 861 vortons, corresponding to the fine-structure constant (alpha inverse approx. 137). Furthermore, we extend this model to large nuclei, where the coherent vacuum strain of the nucleon lattice induces macroscopic metric compressibility. This offers a hydrodynamic basis for gravity modification and emergent antigravity effects without requiring exotic matter.
