A Linear Multiverse A Theoretical Paper Developed Independently
Abstract
This theoretical paper extends the framework established in "The Universe Will Never End: A theoretical paper developed through independent inquiry and self‑audit"(https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18017168) by examining how a multiverse can exist within an eternal substrate. In this context, “universe” is used metaphorically to describe the underlying, never‑ending substrate rather than our specific physical universe. Building on the axiom developed in my first paper, "Time as the Fundamental Quantity in Physics: A Framework Beyond Spacetime"(https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17765135), which argues that time is foundational, this work identifies the minimal conditions required for a linear multiverse: an infinite timeline and a substrate that does not die but transforms. By clarifying what a linear multiverse does and does not require—such as the absence of recurrence or closed‑system constraints—this paper provides the conceptual backbone for situating a multiverse within an endlessly persisting substrate. Developed independently through self‑audit at age 15.
