Abstract

This web-based application performs quantitative meta-analysis for continuous and dichotomous outcomes. The tool supports Mean Difference (MD), Standardized Mean Difference (Hedges g), Risk Ratio (RR), and Odds Ratio (OR) using fixed-effect and random-effects (DerSimonian–Laird) models. The application generates publication-ready forest plots and funnel plots (600 dpi), computes heterogeneity statistics (Cochran’s Q, I², τ²), and performs Egger’s regression test for publication bias when applicable. Study-level effect size tables and statistical summaries are produced automatically. Risk of bias assessment is implemented using the Cochrane Risk of Bias 2 (ROB 2) framework, including traffic-light visualizations and publication-ready certainty tables. In addition, the tool generates structured, journal-ready narrative results suitable for direct inclusion in the Results section of academic manuscripts. This software is intended for academic and research use and follows established methodological standards including the Cochrane Handbook, PRISMA guidelines, and ROB 2 recommendations.
