Abstract

Revised Draft Notice This version replaces a preliminary draft and reflects ongoing revision and clarification of statistical framing and interpretation. The manuscript presents an experimental analysis of the second differences of consecutive prime gaps across datasets of up to the first 10,000 primes. It reports a persistent negative autocorrelation at lag 1 (approximately −0.52) that remains stable across scales and is not reproduced by simple randomized null models. Further refinements, including strengthened null model comparisons and clarified discussion of implications, are in progress
