Subaru-PFS/spt_target_uploader: v3.4.0
Abstract
Released from main at 82d145b via #463. 32 commits since v3.4.1. New Features CSV download buttons for all validation result tables (#441) Out-of-range flux/mag values are bolded and highlighted in the flux range table Bug Fixes Preserve # inside data values when loading target lists. pandas' comment="#" truncated a row from the first # onward, silently dropping the rest of a data line when a value such as ob_code contained one. Only whole-line comments are stripped now. Follow qplan's relocation of EphemerisCache into spot. A dependency upgrade moved qplan across the commit that deleted qplan/util/eph_cache.py, breaking every entry point at import time. Fix unit exposure time terminology inconsistencies Fix warning table highlight colour and validation button styling Dependencies Pin qplan to v2.0.0 instead of tracking master by bare URL — the root cause of the breakage above Upgrade astropy to 8.0.1 and astropy-healpix to 2.0.1 Add [tool.uv] override-dependencies to resolve conflicting git URLs between transitive PFS packages Infrastructure Docker now installs from uv.lock via uv sync --frozen --no-dev. requirements.txt was a committed build artifact regenerated only under build-container.sh -p and had drifted 173 lines from the lock; it is removed, making the lock the single source of truth. PDM support dropped across scripts, pyproject.toml, and docs CI check keeping [tool.uv] override-dependencies in sync with [project].dependencies Remove dead code: target_collision() and KDE_collision mode (#421) Apply black formatting across src/ Documentation Comment-line handling and empty vs NaN flux cells for input lists Mixing filters within a filter category The dev-main/main branching policy Improved unit exposure time description Upgrade Notes requirements.txt is gone. Install with uv sync, or pip install -e .. The Docker build needs no separate export step. PDM is no longer supported; the helper scripts accept uv or venv. Inside a container, skyfield/spot downloads the de421.bsp ephemeris (~17 MB) at runtime on first use. Networks that block this will need the file pre-seeded.
