Existence Without Representation: Reference Frames and the Structural Limits of Scientific Describability
Abstract
This paper develops a philosophical analysis of the structural limits of scientific representation. It argues that describability is not an intrinsic property of reality, but a relation dependent on the reference frame adopted. By examining spatial and causal frameworks of representation, the paper shows that certain phenomena may exist while remaining structurally indescribable within dominant scientific frameworks. The analysis contributes to philosophy of science by clarifying the distinction between existence and describability, and by identifying reference-relative limits of causal and spatial representation.
