Potential for an Effective Cosmological Expansion Term Rooted in Rotational Torque: A Cosmological Correction via Coarse-Grained Angular Momentum Density
Abstract
Proposed Solution to the Hubble Tension via Torque Density This paper investigates the possibility that certain observed effects of cosmic expansion canbe described not as the stretching of space itself, but as the coarse-grained average of therate of change of angular momentum (torque) inherent in hierarchical cosmic structures. Avolume-averaged rate of change in angular momentum has the same units as pressure (Pa), andthus as energy density (J m^-3). By incorporating this quantity as an effective term into theFriedmann equations, a correction term mathematically isomorphic to the cosmological constantcan be naturally introduced. This study does not aim to present a finalized theory, but ratherto propose a minimal configuration that remains testable through observational analyses andtheoretical modeling.
