Ontology Comparison through Patterns: GR, TMDD, and Mazein Mechanics in the Gravity Probe B Gyroscope Problem
Abstract
This work proposes a new method for comparing fundamental physical ontologies—General Relativity (GR), the Tensor Model of Discrete Dynamics (TMDD), and Mazein Mechanics (MM)—through the lens of Phenomenological Reconstruction of Complex Systems (PRCS). The gyroscope precession problem in the Gravity Probe B experiment serves as a demonstration platform. We show how the solution of each of the three theories can be represented not as a set of equations but as a stable dynamic pattern in a phenomenological landscape. Comparing these patterns allows us to precisely localize the validity limits of GR and demonstrate how TMDD and MM describe the same physical reality at a level that reveals their internal dynamic structure.
