Abstract

The English 7 Teacher-Prepared Module on Verbs, Tenses, Parts of Speech, Sentence Structure, Subject-Verb Agreement, Types of Sentences, and Direct and Indirect Speech was developed through the collaborative efforts of dedicated English teachers to support effective teaching and meaningful learning among junior high school students. This module provides structured, engaging, and learner-friendly lessons that strengthen learners' foundational grammar skills. Developed in line with the Department of Education's curriculum standards, this module responds to the need for contextualized and learner-centered instructional materials. It emphasizes the correct use of grammar in both oral and written communication to help learners express their ideas clearly and confidently. The lessons include guided activities and performance-based tasks designed to meet the diverse needs of 2lst-century learners while encouraging practical language use and critical thinking. Aligned with the English 7 Curriculum Guide, this module aims to prepare learners for more advanced language learning in the succeeding grade levels. It is hoped that this module will serve as a useful and engaging resource for both teachers and learners in developing grammatic accuracy and effective communication.
