Discrete MeV-Scale Dark Sector Resonances: Spectral Predictions from the Transverse Slicing Operator
Abstract
We derive a discrete mass spectrum for dark sector excitations in the 60–90 MeV range, based on the eigenstructure of the Transverse Slicing Operator ( ˆQ) within the Operator-Derived Dimension (ODD) framework. Unlike dark photon modelsthat postulate continuous kinetic mixing, the ODD framework predicts a quantized spectrum of mass eigenstates arising from the topological winding modes of the bulk geometry. We provide the master equation, the explicit mass formula, and atable of five falsifiable resonances (m ∈ [62.8, 89.4] MeV) targeting the sensitivity windows of fixed-target experiments (NA62, NA64) and forward detectors (FASER). The observation of these specific discrete masses would distinguish this geometricmechanism from continuous continuum models.
