Discrete MeV-Scale Dark Sector States from Geometric Quantization: 59 MeV - 90 MeV
Abstract
We present two independent derivations of a discrete MeV-scale dark sector spectrum arising from geometric quantization in the Operator-Derived Dimension (ODD) framework. The first method follows directly from the exact spectral solution of the transverse Hamiltonian, while the second employs an effective operator projection used for analytic tractability. We show that the two methods agree at the level of mode structure and spacing, but differ systematically in absolute mass values due to operator linearization. We identify the direct spectral method as the more accurate prediction and provide a detailed table of experimentally testable mass targets in the 60–90 MeV window. The existence of two closely related spectra is a feature of the framework rather than an inconsistency, and offers an internal cross-check for experimental validation.
