Reconstruction Time Displacement (RTD): A Process-Based Formulation of Forward Time Projection
Abstract
This paper introduces Reconstruction Time Displacement (RTD) as a process-based framework for describing forward temporal projection. In this model, time is not treated as an independent dimension or background parameter, but as an emergent quantity derived from reconstruction rates of systems. Forward displacement into the future occurs when the reconstruction rate of a system becomes significantly lower than that of its surrounding environment, leading to temporal desynchronization without physical motion through time. An integral formulation of the resulting temporal gap is presented, demonstrating that forward time projection can occur without violating causality, temporal reversal, or reliance on classical four-dimensional spacetime geometry.
