Abstract

Description DDRP (Deterministic Document Review Protocol) is a software-based protocol for analyzing documents using deterministic, rule-based lexical pattern detection rather than semantic interpretation or probabilistic inference. The system operates directly on canonicalized text and identifies structurally significant operators (e.g., requirements, prohibitions, causal markers, scope delimiters, definitions). From these operators, DDRP instantiates structural obligations that indicate where a document creates requirements, dependencies, or boundaries, and whether those obligations are locally satisfied or remain structurally open. DDRP does not evaluate meaning, intent, legality, correctness, compliance, or risk. It does not generate recommendations or judgments. All outputs are derived from reproducible string-level analysis and are independent of language models. Each execution produces: A deterministic operator detection record An obligation instantiation record A transaction record documenting execution continuity, hashing, and run isolation These artifacts are intended to support auditability, inspection, and adversarial review without introducing interpretive bias. This release documents DDRP v0.1 and includes recent updates introducing explicit run isolation, UI state hard resets, progressive disclosure of results, and a structural integrity indicator that characterizes document structure without semantic inference.
