The Cosmic Influx Theory (CIT): From Gravity to Influx
Abstract
Why does a stone fall when we let it go?Despite centuries of successful calculations, gravity is still described without a clear physical mechanism. This paper introduces the Cosmic Influx Theory (CIT), which interprets gravitation as the macroscopic effect of a continuous influx of mass–energy from a universal background, rather than as attraction or spacetime curvature. The theory builds on the Lorentz transformation of mass–energy applied to large bodies at low velocities and identifies a characteristic velocity that links gravitational acceleration, planetary system structure, and long-term energy accumulation in celestial bodies. Everyday observations—such as accelerometer readings, vacuum effects, planetary heat flow, and geological persistence—are revisited from this perspective. CIT preserves established gravitational equations and remains explicitly testable, offering a physically intuitive way to connect daily experience, laboratory measurements, planetary science, and cosmology.
