The "Bilingual Teacher" Toolkit for Primary Education: A Three-Manual Series for Smart Instructional Design and Descriptive Assessment (IAT Model)
Abstract
This instructional package presents a systematic, three-phase workflow for primary school educators to integrate Generative AI into their pedagogical practice. Grounded in the Integrated AI Triad (IAT) model, the series aims to redefine the teacher's role from a content deliverer to a "Bilingual Designer"—one who fluently speaks the languages of both pedagogy and technology. The series consists of three interconnected manuals: Manual 1 (Smart Instructional Design): Focuses on AI-assisted content extraction from national textbooks and the creation of scenario-based, "cheat-proof" assignments that foster creative and critical thinking in children. Manual 2 (Descriptive Rubric Design): Provides a framework for translating qualitative learning goals into transparent, growth-oriented rubrics, providing a shared language between teachers, students, and parents. Manual 3 (Assessment Automation & Pedagogical Reflection): Introduces a data-driven workflow for analyzing student worksheets, identifying recurring misconceptions, and automating personalized, Socratic feedback to enhance the descriptive assessment process. This series was successfully implemented as part of the digital transformation phase at the Behan Educational Complex (Tehran, 2026).
