Politics, Voter Psychology and the Failure of Modern Leadership
Abstract
Modern political leadership increasingly struggles to create trust, stability, and long-term societal direction. Despite unprecedented access to data, technology, and communication tools, electoral politics often produces short-sighted decisions, polarisation, and leadership failures. This article analyses these outcomes through the lens of voter psychology and average human cognitive–emotional patterns, arguing that modern leadership fails not merely because of bad leaders, but because it adapts too closely to the psychological weaknesses of the electorate rather than transcending them.
