Abstract

This publication presents the definitive Metric-Affine formalization of the Proximity Model, providing a mechanical unification of General Relativity and the Standard Model. Developed through an axiomatic framework (the Schuller method), the model rejects the 100-year canonical assumption of a geometric void in favor of a 1-Dimensional Temporal Underlayment characterized by a finite stiffness: the Temporal Elastic Modulus ( YT≈1.22×1044YT≈1.22×1044 N). Core Axiomatic Framework: Axiom I: Time as the Substrate: Time is identified as the fundamental 1D underlayment of reality, existing naturally as Absolute Simultaneity ( t=0t=0 ). Axiom II: The Geometry of Transection: Physical solidity and manifest existence are derived from the mechanical friction created by the 1D temporal fibers transecting the 3-dimensional spatial manifest at every topological intersection. Axiom III: The 18th Field (Entanglement): We introduce the 18th Field as the Entanglement Field, mathematized as the Non-metricity Tensor ( Q=∇gQ=∇g ). It represents the structural strain of the underlayment and provides the physical tether back to the t=0t=0 Origin. Axiom IV: The 17 Manifest Fields: The fields of the Standard Model are derived as emergent resonant ripples (gradients of time) stimulated by the phenomenon of simultaneity. Axiom V: Identity of Mass and Gravity: We resolve the duality of modern physics by identifying both phenomena as local manifestations of Time Compression. Empirical Interrogations and Predictions: The Saturation Epoch: The model derives a mechanical cause for the 2025 DESI observation of weakening dark energy ( wa→−0.6wa→−0.6 ), identifying it as the restorative limit of the underlayment’s elastic stretch. Black Hole Reclamation: The model resolves the Information Paradox via a Reclamation Protocol, where matter is resolved back to its lowest terms at the Origin. This is supported by the absence of gravitational echoes in concluded LIGO ringdown data (e.g., GW250114). Entropy and Dilation: The model provides a mechanical basis for the "Ancient Maturity" observed by JWST, showing that early structures are protected by time-dilation near the Origin, while newer structures reach entropy first. The Proximity Model serves as a non-singular extension to General Relativity, replacing mathematical ghosts with the mechanical properties of a 1D-temporal substrate reaching its elastic limit.
