Abstract

Patch v1.7.2 is a corrective closure patch over v1.7.1. It preserves the v1.7 closure triad (P2-Approx, κ-Ref, FQC-Merkle), and tightens formal semantics to remove three key review defects: (i) κ-Ref dimensional ambiguity, (ii) probabilistic-vs-deterministic tension for randomized approximation, and (iii) missing explicit purity (no side effects) requirement for gate evaluation. Additionally, v1.7.2 freezes path normalization/sorting for Merkle roots and clarifies INAD as meta-level partiality (admissibility failure) rather than an object-level third truth value.
