A Regime-Based Reading of the Landscape of Consciousness (IM-K001, v0.3)
Abstract
This document is part of the Informational Mechanics (IM) framework and is published as a non-authoritative interpretive essay in the IM v0.3 corpus. The paper offers a regime-based reading of Robert Lawrence Kuhn’s “Landscape of Consciousness” through the lens of Informational Mechanics. It does not propose new axioms, mechanisms, models, or scientific claims. The analysis adopts the scientific-discipline boundary conditions formalized in IM-C002 and uses them as an interpretive filter to distinguish between scientific, pre-scientific, and non-scientific explanatory modes under limited observability and noise. The purpose of the note is reflective and clarificatory: to show how plural explanatory frameworks can be coherently situated relative to regime constraints, without adjudicating empirical correctness or ontological primacy.
