Abstract

We propose the Memory-Induced Universe (MIU), a unified theoretical frameworkin which the universe is fundamentally described as a finite, irreversibleinformation-processing system. We demonstrate that gauge redundancy, dynamical coupling constants, cosmic acceleration, and the observed separation between microphysicsand macrophysics all emerge from a single principle:the irreversible loss of information due to finite memory capacity. A scalar memory field $\phi$ encodes the effective retention of historicalinformation and governs the running of gauge couplings, including the fine-structure constant.Gravitation arises as a macroscopic response to cumulative information loss, yielding an emergent cosmological constant. We show how the Standard Model gauge structure naturally appears as theminimal stable equivalence-class decomposition of local information states. This work unifies the four fundamental interactions at the level of origin, not symmetry, and provides concrete, falsifiable predictions for upcomingobservations.
