Abstract

This resource is a comprehensive visual mind map of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) designed for educational and clinical reference. The mind map presents COPD in a horizontal inophrpoy layout, with Nature and Causes as contextual nodes, and a split layout for diagnosis: Left half: Airflow limitation and severity, including FEV₁-based GOLD 1–4 classification and notes on severity correlation. Right half: Symptoms, patient-reported symptom severity, exacerbation risk, and GOLD A–D classification. Each node is accompanied by relevant icons and calm, academic color coding to facilitate rapid understanding and teaching. The mind map preserves full clinical details, including diagnostic criteria, symptom scales (mMRC, CAT, CCQ), exacerbation risk assessment, and clinical notes. This visual tool is suitable for medical students, clinical instructors, healthcare professionals, and pharmacology researchers as a quick reference or educational aid for COPD evaluation, classification, and management planning.
