The 1.085 Scaling Constant and the Harmonic Ladder Model for Interstellar Rotation.
Abstract
Abstract: This paper proposes the Harmonic Ladder Model to account for the anomalous rotational stability and geometric symmetry observed in interstellar objects (ISOs). Traditional models attribute rotational evolution to chaotic or continuously shifting outgassing torques and YORP-driven dynamics. In contrast, this framework demonstrates that rotational periods occupy discrete, quantized states governed by a universal scaling constant of $1.085$. By defining causal raising ($A^+$) and lowering ($A^-$) operators linked to local environmental interaction density, the model formalizes discrete transitions across orbital boundaries. A time-specific, falsifiable prediction is established for the March 16, 2026 Jupiter Hill Sphere crossing, where 3I/ATLAS is predicted to undergo a Causal Raising Event, shifting its period from $\sim7.14\text{ h}$ to $\sim7.74\text{ h}$
