Abstract

This report provides a legal analysis of the criminal prosecution initiated by the Kyrgyz authorities against Alexey Ignatiev, a Russian citizen residing in Italy, and examines the misuse of INTERPOL mechanisms and extradition procedures in the context of a commercial and corporate dispute. It documents violations of national law, international human rights standards, INTERPOL regulations, and fundamental principles of extradition law, demonstrating that criminal proceedings are being used as a tool of pressure in a private economic conflict.
