A Long-Horizon AI Workspace for Sustained, Non-Destructive Project Work
Abstract
This work presents a conceptual framework for long-horizon AI work, focused on sustained project continuity, non-destructive progress, and explicit decision handling. The framework introduces a workspace-centric model in which AI systems operate as continuous participants within a structured project environment, rather than as session-bound conversational services or autonomous execution agents. Emphasis is placed on persistence of artifacts, bounded and inspectable memory, explicit decision states, tolerance of human absence, and accountability across time. This publication is intended as a reference framework and prior art for third-party implementations of AI-assisted systems supporting long-term, accountable work. This work proposes a structured mechanism for how information generated during ongoing AI reasoning becomes stable long-term memory in long-horizon AI workspaces. custom license statement
