Contribution of RPTM 2026–2035 to Artificial Intelligence of History Literacy
Abstract
This book reviews the contribution of the Malaysian Higher Education Plan (Rancangan Pendidikan Tinggi Malaysia-RPTM) 2026–2035 in strengthening the Artificial Intelligence (AI) of History literacy in Bahasa Malaysia (Malay language@National language) among the younger generation through the transformation of higher education based on digital technology and artificial intelligence. RPTM 2026–2035 emphasizes the integration of AI in teaching and learning to produce graduates who are technologically literate, critical, and competitive, thus opening up new spaces for more interactive, analytical, and contextual history teaching. Through the use of AI applications such as historical data analysis, adaptive learning, and digitization of historical sources in Bahasa Malaysia, the younger generation is not only exposed to historical facts, but is also nurtured to understand the process of constructing historical narratives critically and ethically. This approach has the potential to strengthen the mastery of Bahasa Malaysia as the language of knowledge, foster understanding of national history, and build awareness of the role of AI in shaping and interpreting historical knowledge in the digital era.
