The Beaded Blanket Model
Abstract
Description: This model was developed by Arikta Uniyal (age 16) as a conceptual tool to build intuition regarding the medium of space and electron movement during secondary school studies. The "Beaded Blanket Model" addresses two primary conceptual hurdles in introductory physics: the "Empty Space Paradox" and the "Medium Problem." By visualizing the universe as a structured system of interconnected nodes (Beads), the model explains electron movement not as a particle traveling through a vacuum, but as an energetic "Shine" transferring between fixed points.
