APF Paper 2 — Finite Admissibility and the Failure of Global Description
Abstract
Admissibility Physics — Non-Closure Under Composition (Core Works) This Zenodo community collects research outputs associated with Admissibility Physics, with primary focus on Paper 2 — Non-Closure Under Composition and its consequences across modern physics. Paper 2 establishes the first unavoidable structural result of finite enforceability: admissible correlation sets are generically not closed under composition. Even when two sets of distinctions are individually enforceable, their union may be inadmissible once finite correlation capacity at interfaces is accounted for. Composition, long treated as automatic in physical theory, is shown to be a conditional operation that can fail. This result follows directly from the foundational axiom established in Paper 1 — The Enforceability of Distinction, which defines physical meaning in terms of finite enforcement. Paper 2 shows that finite enforceability alone implies correlation competition, non-additivity of enforcement demand, and the breakdown of global descriptions. No assumptions are made about probability, dynamics, geometry, or quantum postulates. The non-closure result provides the structural origin of many phenomena that are otherwise treated as unrelated or mysterious, including: monogamy of correlations and limits on entanglement, failure of transitivity in correlation chains, conditional existence of tensor products and global state spaces, path dependence and order sensitivity in physical processes, the impossibility of globally consistent descriptions in saturated regimes. All subsequent works in this community develop consequences of non-closure. In particular, later papers derive entropy and irreversibility as consequences of capacity competition, quantum mechanics as a representational regime that preserves admissibility under non-closure, dynamics and geometry as conditional descriptions valid only where non-closure is locally suppressed, and horizons, saturation knees, and measurement-like transitions as feasibility boundaries where composition fails outright. This community is intended as a curated, citable archive centered on the structural consequences of non-closure under finite enforceability. Paper 2 functions as the central structural hinge of the program: the point at which constraint-first reasoning departs decisively from state-space-first physics. Core papers are frozen where noted; companion papers, mathematical supplements, figures, and computational artifacts document derivations, regime conditions, and observable implications.
