Project T Volume IV The Uniqueness of K=3 Why Reality Requires Exactly Three Algebraic Dimensions
Abstract
This volume addresses a deceptively simple question: why three? Why does our universe have three spatial dimensions? Why are there three generations of fermions? Why three color charges in QCD? We will prove that the number 3 is not arbitrary — it is mathematically forced. Any attempt to build a consistent algebraic structure with 2, 4, 5, or more fundamental generators fails. Only 3 works.
