ISL: First-Principles Derivation of the Fine-Structure Constant α via Scope Theory
Abstract
We present a first-principles derivation of the fine-structure constant α ≈ 1/137.036 using Scope Theory, achieving 6.08×10⁻⁷ agreement with CODATA 2022. The formula α = (9/16π³) × (π/120)^(1/4) emerges from geometric constraints:η=9 (3D rotational invariance), Φ=120 (binary icosahedral packing in 5D), and 1/4 (holographic projection to 4D).This work unifies information theory, geometry, and quantum physics, suggesting physical constants are emergent properties of a computational universe.
