Self-Referential Closure, Equivalence, and Internal Infinity
Abstract
We present a self-contained foundational framework in which mathematical structure is gen-erated and stabilized by internal self-referential operations rather than by externally imposedclassification or completion operators. Central to this framework is the principle that equiva-lence, closure, and infinity arise as internal dynamical necessities rather than axiomatic decla-rations. We formalize a minimal operator basis {1, 2, 3, 4} governing identity, scale, asymmetry, and renormalized closure; show that equivalence classes must be infinite under self-referentialconsistency; reinterpret limits, decimal expansions, and adic representations as indexed tra-jectories rather than completed objects; and explain why diagonalization arguments indicaterepresentational growth rather than ontological enlargement. The framework replaces exter-nal completion with internal closure, resolving classical boundary paradoxes associated withinfinitesimals, limits, and infinity.
