Information Scaling Invariants and Baseline Values of Fundamental Constants
Abstract
This work presents the formalization of the Information Scaling Law (ISL), a geometric framework in which fundamental physical constants arise as baseline residues of constrained information processing. Two universal invariants—the packing density Φ = 120 and the transformation index η = 9—are defined from first principles within Scope Theory. Using these invariants, the baseline values of the fine-structure constant (α), the electroweak mixing angle (sin²θ₍W₎), the Higgs boson mass (mₕ), the cosmological constant (Λ), and the proton mass (mₚ) are derived without empirical fitting. The results show close agreement with established experimental values at the geometric (pre-renormalization) level. The framework is presented as an organizing geometric baseline compatible with, but not replacing, the Standard Model and quantum field theoretical corrections.
