Abstract

Culture change in paramedicine doesn’t happen through slogans or policies alone — it happens by changing everyday practice. In this clip, we explore why meaningful culture change requires shifts in behaviour, workflows, and systems, alongside real support for people doing the work. Telling teams to “think differently” is not enough; we have to design environments that enable safer, better decisions under real-world prehospital constraints. This systems-based perspective underpins how we approach evidence-informed care, patient safety, and high-stakes decision-making in paramedicine.
