Null Results, Integrated Observables, and Interface-Dependent Invertibility
Abstract
This technical note examines the interpretability limits of null experimental results when observables are mediated by integrated or non-invertible observational interfaces. It clarifies under which conditions the absence of a detected signal does not necessarily imply the absence of an underlying physical process, without introducing new physical models or ontological assumptions.
