SMARTGLASSES"-ASOCIALASSISTANTDEVICEBASEDONARTIFICIALINTELLIGENCEANDSENSORTECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
This article examines the development of smart glasses as a social assistive device based on artificial intelligence and advanced sensor technologies. The proposed approach integrates computer vision, natural language processing, and sensor fusion to deliver real-time environmental awareness, navigation assistance, and support for social interaction. By employing on-device intelligence and adaptive feedback mechanisms, smart glasses are designed to enhance independence and quality of life for individuals with visual impairments, cognitive challenges, and age-related functional decline. The article analyzes system architecture, core functionalities, and ethical considerations, emphasizing the importance of human-centered design and privacy-preserving solutions.
