The Silent Self-Extinction of Humanity Nuclear War, Ecological Collapse, and the End of Meaning
Abstract
Humanity is not facing a single existential threat, but a converging system of irreversible failures. Nuclear escalation, ecological destruction, chemical contamination, resource exhaustion, and uncontrolled consumption dynamics together form a terminal trajectory. This paper argues that human extinction within the next few centuries is not a dramatic hypothesis, but the default outcome if current behavior persists. No war can be justified in a world that is already destroying the conditions required for life itself.
