Abstract

Data files and scripts used to analyse the effect of forest harvesting on annual maximum daily flow for Camp Creek, British Columbia. Data files dly_flow_20251207.csv Time series of mean daily flows for Camp Creek (Water Survey of Canada station number 08NM134) and Greata Creek (WSC station number 08NM173). wx_long_all_20251207.csv Time series of daily weather observation for Summerland CS and Peachland Brenda Mines stations. swe_cg_20251207.csv Manual observations of snowpack water equivalent (SWE) at Trout Creek (station number 2F01) and Summerland Reservoir (station number 2F02) snow courses. camp_dist_by_harvestyear.shp Cutblock polygons and associated attributes for the Camp Creek catchment, including BEC zone and harvest year. greata_dist_by_harvestyear.shp Cutblock polygons and associated attributes for the Greata Creek catchment, including BEC zone and harvest year. Camp_Greata_catchment_boundaries.shp Catchment polygons generated by the National Hydrographic Network. Scripts Scripts were written using the R language. The leading number in each script name indicates the order in which scripts should be run. The scripts read data from a folder named 'data' within the project root directory. Figures are saved in a folder named 'figures' in the project root directory, and numerical output (e.g., as .csv files) is saved in a folder named 'output' in the project root directory.
