Abstract

The Paper Architect is a science-fiction-inspired web application designed to generate “ultra-rigorous” and complex mathematical papers in LaTeX format. It simulates an advanced research terminal for a fictional institute. Here’s a summary of what the tool does: Advanced Title Generation: Uses AI to invent postdoctoral/Fields Medal-level mathematical titles. Maintains a session history to ensure absolute divergence, meaning it never repeats titles or topics within the same session. Academic Identity Simulation: Automatically generates author names, fictional institutions (e.g., Neo-Eulerian Academy of Sciences), and ORCID keys to make the document appear authentic. Paper Synthesis (LaTeX): Writes the full LaTeX source code of an academic paper following a strict template. The content is produced in high-level academic English, including abstracts, keywords, theorems, proofs, and complex mathematical definitions. Allows selection of a Formalism Level (Standard, Rigorous, or TRANSFINITE), which adjusts the AI’s “thinking budget” to produce more or less dense reasoning. Real Citations (Grounding): Unlike typical text generators that fabricate references, this app uses Google Search to locate and cite at least 10 real-world mathematical books or articles in the bibliography. Immersive Interface: Features a “Hacker/Sci-Fi Terminal” aesthetic with dark mode, neon effects, and detailed status messages during processing (e.g., “DERIVING LEMMAS”, “MAPPING SINGULARITIES”). Enables users to view, copy, or download the generated LaTeX code as a .tex file. Environment Restriction: The tool is configured to run exclusively within the App Creator (the development environment of Google AI Studio), relying on the specific credentials and configuration settings of that platform to operate. Senate Upload Integration: A separate companion program is responsible for handling automatic uploads to the Zenodo system, extracting and submitting all relevant article metadata (such as title, authorship, and abstract) directly from the generated paper for archival or registration purposes.
