Testability of Quantum-Geometric Coherence Across Laboratory and Astrophysical Platforms
Abstract
Recent laboratory and astrophysical experiments probing precision time, phase, and strain have reported residual correlations that persist beyond naive instrumental noise models. Rather than interpreting such residuals as evidence for exotic dynamics, we adopt a conservative framework in which the primary observables are (i) a coherence time $\tau_c$, defined operationally via comparison--channel persistence, and (ii) a geometric correlation length $\tilde{\lambda}_c$, bounded by causality and experimental readout support. We show that, when extracted consistently, interferometric, atomic, mechanical, and gravitational-wave platforms occupy a continuous and non-contradictory hierarchy in $\tau_c$ and $\tilde{\lambda}_c$. This provides a quantitative, falsifiable basis for near-term experimental tests of ensemble-level quantum geometric response without invoking speculative phenomena.
